Career Experience
I have been in education for over ten years, having taught at both the middle school and high school levels. During my time, I have focused on teaching social studies courses, both in the general and AP level, as well as strategies and tools to help with essay writing and reading comprehension. Additionally, I have helped my school sites with college related tasks, including college awareness, college applications and college essay writing. But perhaps what I enjoy the most is creating a bond with my students based on respect and sincerity, which I think is key to helping build a foundation for academic success.
I Love Tutoring Because
I truly believe that all students are capable of academic success no matter where they are. As a tutor and educator, it is my duty to meet each student where they are, and provide them with the personalized resources and strategies that will help them obtain their goal. At the end, the greatest reward is witnessing that "a-ha" moment where students shine in confidence as they achieve a new level of academic achievement.
