Career Experience
Former practicing attorney turned software engineer and educator. After working in law, I transitioned into software engineering and spent several years building production web applications and data-dense internal tools across multiple teams in a large enterprise environment. Across law and engineering, a consistent theme has been translating complicated information into clear reasoning, writing precise explanations, and mentoring others. I now tutor math and technical subjects while doing freelance development, focusing on strong fundamentals, structured thinking, and independent problem solving.
I Love Tutoring Because
I enjoy breaking complex ideas into simple steps and watching the moment they click. Tutoring is diagnosing how someone is thinking, not just correcting answers, then rebuilding the concept so it sticks. My background in law and engineering trained me to analyze arguments, debug reasoning, and communicate clearly under pressure. The goal is independence – students should leave able to approach unfamiliar problems with confidence.
