I needed help checking all of my explanations for my database queries for understandability, accuracy, and correct SQL terms. First, they asked if there were any areas I wanted checked specifically, along with any previous instructor feedback or preferences, and then checked my work. After making sure everything made sense and was correct, they reviewed each part of my paper with me, helping me polish and fix my explanations line-by-line! They were nice, patient, explained everything in a way I could understand, answered all of my questions, and gave me suggestions on what to ask my instructor about regarding areas in the assignment that were a bit confusing

I needed help with importing CSV files and using the COUNT() function for a database assignment in Codio, but was having trouble understanding the instructions and was unfamiliar with COUNT() queries. They read through the assignment parts I was struggling with, helped me find the file path that neither the assignment nor module resources provided, and broke down the command parts to help me better understand how the process works. Then they showed me how to fix my commands and functions for the next few parts, as well as made sure I could complete the remainder of the assignment before ending the session. They were nice, patient, understanding, answered all my questions, explained everything in a way I could understand, and offered to reconnect if I needed help afterward!

I noticed that some tutors are no knowledgeable on all things and everyone has different understanding of subject matter. It actually gave me confidence on this so I don't feel all alone in not knowing. It makes me feel okay to not know actually. Each person did add something more than the other, paired with other resources like YouTube, Google scholar, class textbook I can be okay with not knowing it all but having the resources and time to figure it out. so thank you!
