Students at Pace University follow the Pace Path, a personalized approach to education designed around each individual鈥檚 goals, with immersive learning at its core and opportunities that offer 鈥渁 little bit of everything for students, allowing us to gain enough experiences, recognizing our own selves as students and individuals.鈥� Leveraging its strong industry connections and New York location, the university excels at 鈥減roviding a working environment for students to thrive,鈥� while academic programs consistently 鈥渇ocus on how [the] university can help you get a job.鈥� This emphasis on real-world readiness is reflected in the more than 9,000 experiential learning opportunities, including internships, co-ops, and clinicals, completed by students in the past year through more than 1,000 employers. In the classroom, 鈥渧ery well-versed and experienced鈥� faculty lead 鈥渇ast but interesting鈥� courses, sometimes taking innovative approaches like 鈥淸requiring] major projects over exams for knowledge of material to be shown,鈥� all within modern learning environments that include simulation labs, VR classrooms, and Bloomberg Terminals. Beyond coursework, students can pursue their interests through more than 50 centers dedicated to research, training, and professional development, while also benefiting from experiences like 鈥淸field] trips where we learn more about the lectures,鈥� along with access to some of the nation鈥檚 top museums. Pace attracts a wide range of students who 鈥渂ring global perspectives, work hard toward their goals, and create a collaborative, career-focused community.鈥� On this urban campus, this 鈥渧ery diverse鈥� student body is 鈥渇rom all different states and countries, with a wide variety of side hustles and activities outside of school,鈥� contributing to an environment that 鈥渇eel[s] very international and dynamic.鈥� The student population skews female, is 鈥渁ccepting of queer community,鈥� and is 鈥渆xpressive and independent.鈥� It is composed of 鈥渟elf-determined students, focusing on their studies and school while also having friends and collaborating with one another.鈥� As one student notes, 鈥淵ou can find just about any kind of person and all different kinds of career goals; it鈥檚 really refreshing and comforting.鈥� At the same time, it鈥檚 not all business; most undergrads are 鈥渇un and relatable鈥� and 鈥渁lways there when needed,鈥� with classmates described as 鈥渧ery sweet and respectful鈥�[and who] help each other when needed.鈥� This 鈥渧ery hardworking鈥� community is driven to succeed, and 鈥渢hey know how to advocate, explore, and have fun.鈥� One grateful student says, 鈥淢y peers push me to be the best version of myself. They inspire me to reach my goals and enact change within my community.鈥�

Pace students 鈥渂alance heavy workloads but still help each other, creating a friendly and collaborative campus environment,鈥� fostering a strong sense of community both on and off campus. With its NYC location, students note that 鈥渢here is always something to do outside of school, whether that be for food, shopping, or anything [else],鈥� and many cite 鈥渆xploring the city with friends鈥� as a favorite pastime. The university enhances student life with special events like 鈥渧isiting JPMorgan Chase Headquarters and seeing alumni in the workforce,鈥� alongside 鈥渁 lot of interactive clubs鈥� such as the Criminal Justice Club, intramural sports, and 鈥淧ace Film Club, where we not only create our own films, but we discuss the history of other directors and cinematographers.鈥� Across these experiences, students share a common focus on 鈥済etting involved in activities that help build community on campus,鈥� which gives them 鈥渁 chance to meet new people, de-stress, and feel more connected to the school.鈥�
