With a student body of 14,000, 鈥渢here is no typical student at UNF.鈥� Filled with 鈥渇riendly鈥� people who are mostly 鈥渇rom Florida,鈥� UNF students 鈥渓ove to learn and are actively involved in making a real difference.鈥� Possessing 鈥渁ll the aspects of a huge state college with a much more laid back feel,鈥� 鈥渆veryone is very friendly, and there are many organizations to be a part of.鈥� Many students touted the tolerant atmosphere at UNF, saying that there is an 鈥渁ctive LGBT community鈥� and 鈥渆veryone seems to be tolerant of each other regardless of how they look, what their race or ethnicity is.鈥� Another student noted that 鈥渃ultural diversity seems to be celebrated by students and faculty,鈥� and that 鈥渟tudents can feel free to be themselves and express themselves accordingly.鈥� As one student put it, 鈥渨e are all different in our own ways. We fit in like pieces of a puzzle. Nobody judges you.鈥�
